  • Clay Pots

    Clay Pots

The principle in this image is balance because of the matching clay pots on each side. My favorite things about this image are the many circles and the lighting. If I were to re-edit this image, I would use the "spot healing brush" tool and remove some of the dirt on the pots.

  • Seasonal Flower

    Seasonal Flower

The principle in this image is rule of thirds because the subject, the flower, is more on the right side of the image. My favorite part in this image is how the sun is just hovering over the flower and the vibrant clouds in the background. If I were to re-edit this image, I would make the green a little more vibrant because of the white surrounding it.

  • Palm Tree

    Palm Tree

Simplicity is the principle in this image. This is because of the clear blue skies as the background and the singular palm tree as the subject. What I like most about this image is the sun being covered by the tree because it creates an outline around the leaves. If I were to retake this shot, I would try to sharpen the leaves and not make it as blurry. Also, I would back up a little more, so the leaves are completely in the image and not cut out.

  • Majestic

    Majestic

In this image, the principle at work is simplicity. Most of the image is different shades of green, ranging from the grass to the baseball's logo. However, what really caught my eye was the glove, particularly the red Rawlings logo. An error, or something I would re-do in this image is to un-blur the logo on the baseball and try to make it more noticeable.

  • Magnify

    Magnify

The principle in this image is framing. It is shown through the magnifying class zooming in on the flower and creating a circular outline around it. What drew me to this particular image is the use of the magnifying glass itself because it was the first time I ever attempted it. If I were to retake this shot, I would try to center the magnifying glass' handle and straighten it out.
