I think the principle of composition in this image is balance because there is an equal amount of water and tree in the photo with the rocks separating them directly down the middle. I love the way the image looks and I love the way the water is reflecting off the sun. If I could change something I would have done a long exposure shot so the water isn't so rough.
Oahu Sunset
The principal of composition in this image is mergers because the palm trees are merging into the sky. I like this image because it reminds me of the vacation I went on to Oahu two years ago. I also really like it how it gives off the feel of paradise and how the sun is shining on the leaves of the palm trees. If I had the opportunity to reshoot this image I would focus on not having the signs in the image.
Abbey
The principle of composition used in the image is balance. it is balance because my dogs face is centered and symmetrical. I like this image because it is one of the best images I have taken of my dog. I like how. the background is blurred and the reflections in my dogs eyes. If I could reshoot the image I would change the blur on the left side by her ear. The automatic blur feature on the iPhone blurred part of her ear.
Discovery Bay
The principle of composition in the image is rule of thirds. I really like the detail in the water of the image. I also like the sunset and the way it shines through the palm tress in the background. I also like the way the kid on the left paddle boarding merges into the sky. If I had the opportunity to reshoot this photo I would move it over so the dock does show in the bottom left.
Monterey
The principle used in this image is rule of thirds because there is two thirds of action on the left and there is a break on the right side of the image. This is one of my favorite images because I love cars and this was shot during a car rally in Monterey. I really like the way the car sits in the image. If I had the opportunity to reshoot this image I would want to get a different angle of the car. that is more to the right.
