Skater Kid (from Film Roll 1)

I like this photo because the kid and his skateboard are sharp and in focus, even though he was in the air mid trick. I also like who the kid stands out against the light color of the bowl. It's also cool how background is tilted, but the kid is not,I think it gives the image character. This was a very fun image to try to capture.

Cows (From DASS Process)

I like this image because the film I used was old (from 2005) so I had no idea how the images would actually look. It was a fun surprise toes. how the images came out. I chose to use this image for the DASS process because I thought that the vivid colors and heavy grain would look cool with the imperfect edges from the transfer.

From Baja

I like how the lines of the steps lead the eye out to the cactus and the ocean. Although the image is a bit under exposed, I think that it worked out well because the table stands out since it is much darker than the rest of the image.

Casita

I mostly like this image because I stayed in this casita and it was a great trip. I think the image itself turned out really well and I like that it was exposed properly and has good contrast. If I were to retake this image, I think I would change the angle to focus more on the casita and change the exposure to see more of the clouds.

Sea Lions

I really like this image because the sea lions almost blend into the rocky landscape behind them. I also like how you can see the movement of the water and the splashes. I like the colors in this image, but I wish I would have edited it a bit more.
